She has problems reading the atmosphere in situations and just speaks out what comes to mind, sometimes making others surprised at her actions. She usually tries to raise the spirits of others, making her the mood maker of the group.
She is friendly and cheerful, always being curious and not worrying much about things. Pascal is a clear-headed and brilliant genius technician that Asbel encounters during his journey. Malik hands Hubert his communicator afterward, and the ending credits indicate that Hubert keeps in contact with Pascal. She mistakes the situation as him going to marry someone else and tells him that she will take a bath before attending the wedding ceremony. On the day before their final battle, Hubert admits his feelings to Pascal, but she is completely oblivious and misunderstands him. On Fodra, Pascal is able to help the group analyze data left behind by Fodran researchers 1,000 years in the past in order to learn more about the Little Queen. While the group hypothesizes about what could be the root cause of the monster outbreaks, Pascal suggests going back to visit Fodra. Pascal joins the group at this point and accompanies them for most of their travels. When the group arrives there, they meet up with Sophie and Pascal. When the group goes to meet with her, Poisson tells them that she and Sophie have gone to the Fendel Glacier Ruins. After returning from the Gustworks Ruins, the group receives a transmission from Pascal asking them to meet her at the Amarcian Enclave. Although the rest of the group comes to Richard's aide, Pascal fails to meet up with Malik Caesar to go to the meeting.Īsbel, Hubert Oswell, Richard, Malik, and Cheria Barnes begin to investigate the monster problems on their own, with Pascal's whereabouts unknown. She is summoned by Richard for an audience to discuss the monster problems currently plaguing the kingdom. Using the power of Fendel's valkines, she creates her own hot-water distribution system for all the citizens of Fendel to benefit from. Six months after her journey with Asbel, Pascal continues her research on the valkines cryas. Through her suggestion, the group decides to go to Fodra using the Amarcian ship, with Fourier helping them by killing the monsters that are in their way.
Later, when Sophie is injured, Pascal concludes that Sophie is not a human, but the legendary "Proto Heis" is from another planet, Fodra. In Fourier's anger, she yells at her younger sister for always being better and mimicking her, upsetting Pascal. They go to find her in her laboratory, where Pascal reveals to her sister what is wrong with the research and why she abandoned it. Soon it is found that her sister, Fourier, had taken her incomplete research about the valkines cryas and used it herself. The experiments conducted on Fendel's valkines cryas are based on her research, which she left unfinished because it was not perfect. Here, Pascal reveals that she is actually an Amarcian, an ancient, intellectual race that left ruins all over the world. During the group's pursuit of Richard, they stop in Zahvert, the capital of Fendel. Curious about Sophie, Pascal helps the three of them escape and decides to tag along with them in helping Richard regain his right to the throne. Pascal touches Sophie and is surprised to know that Sophie is real instead of a hologram, making Sophie shove her away violently. Pascal first encounters Asbel, Sophie, and Richard when the three try to escape from Barona.
